WITH

WITH is a collaboration between artists with acquired brain injuries. As creators, they share a passion for storytelling, community building, and evolving their creative practices based on their lived experiences of disability.

WITH was exhibited at the Brain Injury of Toronto Expressive Arts Show (2022), which had works displayed at Spadina Museum and in store fronts across the city of Toronto.

We were also a part of the #CripRitual exhibition, a collaboration between The Critical Design Lab, Tangled Art+Disability and the Doris McCarthy Gallery. WITH was at Tangled Art+Disability January 21–April 1, 2022.

In conjunction with this project, Cassidy Bankson and Dawn McLeod offered a free workshop with Tangled that allowed participants to meet and inspire each other. Participants had time to create, were paired up with another participant to share their art, and then made something in response to their partner.
