ABOUT

Hi! I’m Faye! I make soft sculptures and comics that care for people.

I am currently drawing a graphic memoir on living with brain injury, and am creating accessible, interactive felt and velvet sculpture pieces that are made to be touched.

My works on grief, disability identity, and mental health have exhibited internationally on subway cars, in parks, in magazines, and on gallery walls, windows, ceilings, floors, tables, pianos, and chairs.

I am a certified braille transcriber and co-creator of The Braille Project, a series of large scale tactile paintings. My comic, “Emergency Room” is shortlisted for the upcoming 2026 Graphic Medicine International Collective Short-Form award, and was the winner of Solstice Magazine’s Best Graphic Literature 2025 Award.

I live in Brooklyn, NY.
