Just You and I and Us

Just You and I is a double-sided postcard, drawings of my second son and I.

It was part of the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO)’s I AM HERE: Home Movies and Everyday Masterpieces exhibit, 2022.

Prior to that it appeared in the AGO’s Portraits of Resilience project, an online exhibition showcasing works of resilience during the pandemic.

It also appeared in Mail Art: Unlimited Dada (2021), Propeller Gallery’s (Toronto) collection of pieces that travelled through the mail to get to them and were made as documentation of this time.

Last Spring and Summer a large-scale banner of this work, titled US, was in the outdoor exhibition at Coffey Park, Brooklyn, New York as part of Brooklyn Utopias: Along the Canal from Arts Gowanus.
